The purpose of these General Terms and Conditions is to define the terms and conditions for the provision of the services of www.international-horizons.com hereinafter referred to as “the Services” and the terms and conditions of use of the Service by the user.
Any access and/or Use of the www.international-horizons.eu website implies the acceptance and respect of all the terms of these Terms and Conditions and their unconditional acceptance. They therefore constitute a contract between International Horizons and the User. In the event that the User does not wish to accept all or part of these Terms and Conditions, he/she is asked to renounce any use of the Service.
By accepting these conditions, the User authorises International Horizons to communicate his data to its partners and to receive information from them. In a logic of respect for the private life of its Users, International Horizons undertakes that the collection and processing of personal information, carried out within the present site, will be carried out in accordance with the law number 78-17 of January 6, 1978 relating to data processing, files and liberties, known as the “Data Processing and Liberties” Law. In accordance with article 34 of the law “Informatique et Libertés”, International Horizons guarantees the User a right of opposition, access and rectification on the nominative data concerning him/her. International Horizons Services
The service company International Horizons is a matchmaking agency that helps students and young graduates in their search for an internship abroad and a host family, in particular by allowing them to benefit from the following Services:

The registration is a contract and commits the subscriber to accept HI’s tariff conditions. The User is informed that the said Services are subject to constant evolution. International Horizons is required to notify individuals who have subscribed to HI’s services of any changes in the pricing terms and conditions after completing the online registration. The evolution of the prices and services induced will be proposed to the student by sending an email stipulating all the modifications. To accept them, the subscriber will have to send an acceptance email. If he refuses, International Horizons will no longer consider the student as a participant in our internship research program and will no longer receive any e-mail from us. In all other cases and for all other modifications, it is up to the subscriber to verify by himself that the services and pricing conditions have not changed before registration. Therefore, he will have to inform himself by reading the website and the general conditions of use of the services on the contract that will be sent to him. By accepting to subscribe to International Horizons services, you agree that we will contact you during your internship for a follow-up, and afterwards to deliver – on a voluntary basis – a testimonial.
Conditions of purchase
Article 1: PRICE
Prices are indicated on our site in euros, all taxes included. In the event of an order to a country other than metropolitan France, customs duties or other local taxes (local VAT, customs tax, import duties, etc.) may be payable. These duties are at your exclusive charge and are your sole responsibility both in terms of declarations and payment to the competent authorities. All orders, regardless of their origin, are invoiced and payable in euros only.
Article 2: PAYMENT
The payment of the purchases is carried out: by remote payment by credit card or via the website by secure payment by credit card. No post-payment reimbursement except in cases of force majeure: death, illness requiring bed rest in the country of departure.
Article 3 : DELIVERY
Search for an internship abroad: the pre-internship agreement is sent directly after payment. Search for a host family: the contacts are sent before the departure of the student on an internship abroad, and after payment. Sale of contact files: post-payment the file(s) are directly downloadable by the client Resume overhaul: 30-minute interview then resume overhaul by the team Interview training via Skype: 45 minutes of advice and training by a team member

We have the internship agreement or the pre-agreement signed if the user does not have the internship agreement available.
International Horizons cannot be held responsible for :
In case of dismissal from the internship for inappropriate behaviour, a language level lower than announced or any other reason(s) that does not allow the user to carry out the missions entrusted by the company.
The user must send his internship agreement within 15 days with a copy of International Horizons: if this deadline is exceeded or if the user has not copied International Horizons, International Horizons will not be required to have the final internship agreement signed.
Search for a host family: International Horizons offers a fee before the search. Payment is made prior to the family search. The rate may vary depending on the accommodation options chosen by the user, the size of the city, the country.
Sale of contact files: Company contacts are phone numbers AND / OR emails. The purchase of one or more files does not guarantee that you will get an internship abroad. The user is responsible for the use and exploitation of the data.
Resume Redesign: International Horizons redraws the user’s resume based on the interview conducted beforehand.
Interview training via Skype: A team member coaches and advises the user for a period of 45 minutes.
Minimum stay of two weeks in DUBLIN / MALTA or LORIENT / NANTES with accommodation in a host family / student apartment
Article 5: NOMINATIVE OR PRIVATE INFORMATION
Our company treats all information concerning its customers with the strictest confidentiality. When ordering, only the information required (surname, first name, address, e-mail) is requested for efficient processing and careful monitoring of the order. These data entered online are saved on a secure server and are immediately encrypted. The file containing this information has been declared to the Commission Nationale de l’Informatique et des Libertés.

Pursuant to the provisions of Article L 121-34 of the French Consumer Code, we inform you that, should we be required to ask you to provide us with your telephone details in the context of relations with our after-sales service in particular, due to the fact that the law offers you the possibility of registering on an opposition list to telephone canvassing.
Article 6: DISPUTE – LAW APPLICABLE TO RELATIONS WITH THE CUSTOMER
Our sales are exclusively governed by French law. The competent court is that of Tribunal de Commerce of Lorient.
Article 7: ACCEPTANCE OF THE CUSTOMER
By making a payment, you accept the general terms and conditions of sale.
ARTICLE 8: WITHDRAWAL PERIOD
Service de Mise en Relation (internship) Each participant has, in accordance with the provisions of article L121-21 of the Consumer Code, a period of fourteen clear days to exercise his right of withdrawal without having to justify his reasons or pay penalties. However, the participant declares that he renounces the aforementioned time limit to the acceptance of the International Horizons service to which the participant subscribes, being then immediately implemented (application(s) processed, interview(s) organised, etc). The services are not refundable once the service has begun – except in cases of force majeure (death of the user or illness requiring bed rest) Accommodation search service Each participant has, in accordance with the provisions of article L121-21 of the Consumer Code, a period of fourteen clear days to exercise his/her right of retraction without having to justify reasons or pay penalties. However, the participant declares that he renounces the aforementioned time limit to the acceptance of the International Horizons service to which the participant subscribes, being then immediately implemented (application(s) processed, interview(s) organised, etc).
